Celebrating One Year of Excellence
Today marks the first anniversary of the official opening of our multipurpose terminal Trans Misr Terminal (TMT) at Alexandria Port, inaugurated by H.E. President of Egypt, Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, alongside esteemed ministers and the Chairman and CEO of the CMA CGM Group, Rodolphe SAADE.
Over the past year, we have achieved significant milestones:
- Expanded Vessel Categories: Thanks to our terminal specifications and state-of-the-art equipment, we’ve enabled new categories of vessels to call at Alexandria Port.
- Historic Handling: We proudly handled the largest vessel ever to call at Alexandria Port, the MV CMA CGM APOLLON, with a capacity of 15,573 TEUs.
- Versatile Solutions: As a multipurpose terminal, we provide comprehensive solutions for General Cargo and RoRo activities, catering to diverse maritime needs.
- Enhanced Efficiency: Our efforts have significantly reduced waiting times and improved vessel turnaround times, raising the rank of Alexandria Port in the region.
