A New Milestone for Trans Misr Terminal (TMT): First Breakbulk Transshipment Shipment
Trans Misr Terminal (TMT) proudly celebrates another significant milestone with the successful handling of its first-ever breakbulk transshipment shipment, further expanding its cargo-handling capabilities and strengthening its position as an emerging regional transshipment hub
The operation involved the transshipment of three breakbulk units, each measuring 22 metres in length, discharged from MV CMA CGM TIGA, temporarily stored at TMT, and subsequently loaded onto the connecting vessel, MV CMA CGM HERMES.
Successfully coordinated and safely executed through the combined efforts of our dedicated teams across TMT, this achievement demonstrates our growing capabilities in managing specialized cargo, providing flexible storage solutions, and executing complex transshipment operations.
Beyond expanding our service portfolio, this milestone reinforces TMT’s role in connecting major trade routes, facilitating cargo flows between key markets, and strengthening maritime connectivity across the Eastern Mediterranean and beyond.
