Trans Misr Terminal (TMT) proudly celebrated the maiden call of 𝗠𝗩 𝗖𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗚𝗠 𝗖𝗬𝗥𝗔𝗡𝗢, a brand-new 𝗠𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗼𝗹 𝗗𝘂𝗮𝗹-𝗙𝘂𝗲𝗹 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝗦𝗵𝗶𝗽, making her 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁-𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗺𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗹 𝘃𝗼𝘆𝗮𝗴𝗲.
 
Deployed on the 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲, MV CMA CGM CYRANO further strengthens TMT’s connectivity with the 𝗙𝗮𝗿 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁, 𝗘𝗮𝘀𝘁 𝗠𝗲𝗱𝗶𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗔𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗥𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗲𝗮 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀, reinforcing the terminal’s role as a strategic gateway connecting Egypt with key global trade corridors.

With an arrival draft of 𝟭𝟲.𝟭meters, MV CMA CGM CYRANO highlights the deployment of the latest generation of ultra-large container vessels at Trans Misr Terminal (TMT) and demonstrates the terminal’s capability to safely accommodate deep-draft vessels.
 
Adding further significance to this milestone, MV CMA CGM CYRANO was berthed 𝘀𝗶𝗺𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗲𝗼𝘂𝘀𝗹𝘆 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗠𝗩 𝗖𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗚𝗠 𝗔𝗗𝗢𝗡𝗜𝗦, with 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵 𝘂𝗹𝘁𝗿𝗮-𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗿 𝘃𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗹𝘀 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝟯𝟲𝟲 𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗟𝗲𝗻𝗴𝘁𝗵 𝗢𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗹 (𝗟𝗢𝗔). Together, the two vessels represent 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝟯𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗘𝗨𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗰𝗮𝗽𝗮𝗰𝗶𝘁𝘆 and 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝟯𝟭𝟯,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝘁𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗱𝗲𝗮𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁, showcasing TMT’s capability to safely and efficiently accommodate two next-generation mega vessels simultaneously while maintaining the highest standards of operational excellence.

This achievement further demonstrates Trans Misr Terminal’s readiness to accommodate the latest generation of ultra-large container vessels, supporting the deployment of larger, deeper-draft, and more sustainable ships while strengthening Egypt’s connectivity with the world’s major trade corridors.
